Just viewed a 20 plate s3 with 22k miles which I like but there is a crease/line in the leather. Can this be fixed? Also how do you get the big rev counter? I fiddled for ages and couldn’t see it in the options,. Can you only get it with the engine on?

they all do that unfortunately. Had 4 Audis and it all did that to greater or lesser degree.
It’s the bolster/foam underneath that goes then the leather creases. You can get new foam or get an upholsterer to fit some extra foam underneath then iron out the crease. It will happen again though.

So treating the leather etc won’t do much?

As George said can be sorted but there’s no easy miracle cream or lotion would fix that.
Treating will help somewhat but really needs taken apart and straightened out.

Big rev counter you'd need to get Vorsprung 12-3 inch binnacle as for the leather they normally come from the factory like that as it only takes a few people to hit the bolster with their heavy ar$es to do that a hairdryer will improve the shape/form of the bolster

You've been contemplating purchasing a S3 for how long

The 8v doesn’t have a different dash like the 8y though does it? Worked out you change the rev by going onto “handbook” in the vc settings. Been considering one for a while, waiting for some things to fall into place. This 8v was £33k which seems a lot for the previous model s3
