So I've been having some issues with my S3 FL, I believe I have narrowed it down to the hydraulic lifter(s) / tappets which are noisy on cold startup. I can't find much info about them being a common issue, my car is high mileage and I'd like to get it sorted before it causes an issue. Does anyone have any further info on replacing these, or if there is an underlying issue which would cause them to tick upon cold start? The noise disappears a few seconds after startup.
