I have been trying to find the correct spec of oil to do a gearbox oil change on my A6 but keep coming up with conflicting results. Is there a reliable source of info that will confirm what i need before i order the wrong stuff
The gearbox code on the sticker is HNN JML
Thanks in advance
Paul

Be careful, there's allot of fake oil on the market, given the application, maybe dealer is best.

For getting robbed .

Just buy from a reputable source like Opie Oils.

I guess it's a personal choice of risking something potentially dodgy & gearbox issues or going for peace of mind, considering gearboxes are many thousands not hundreds, I know my choice, however Opie are reliable with a good name.

As long as I know the correct spec of oil I am happy to get it from my trade supplier. Just need a reliable source of the exact grade/spec needed
