Changed the coolant temp sensor on bottom hose now i need sensor on engine block beside thermostsat its definwtely not part of the thermostsat as audi say anyone ? Itd beside thermostst going into engine block. Audi a3 2011 1.2 tsi

Hi thanks for your reply sorry i was trying to fix the car im only seeing your reply now.
I plugged into scanner error code coolant sensor 1 . Ive changed the coolant temp sensor on the head and on the lower rad hose but still same fault and engine light on and hard to start in the mornings temp gauge fluctuates and stays o mostly rad fan on constant what next
