Hi all son has a 2007 a3 3door sline, he undone the drivers window, but when he went to do it up it only went up by a inch and very slow and you can press the window button down it will go down but then only up a inch every time. So i can tell there is power going to the window for it to go up and down. We took the door card off but just not sure how you get the inner card of the one that has the door cable handle running in it, we have been told more than likely the window regulator does this seem likely or could it be a lazy motor if so is there anyway i can tell/test which one it maybe thanks for anyhelp sorry also the window will not go up of the key fob.

Ok thanks for that as my son's car is a 8p1 will a 8p regulator fit because i can't seem to find a 8p1 only 8p thanks
Dont buy used or aftermarket as they're rubbish, the ecp ones also may require modifying to fit, best to buy new regulator from audi & yes I suspect it's this too.
