New to Audi...bit of help needed re. Android Auto

Hi all.
Took delivery of my MY22 A4 40TFSi Black Edition last week and really enjoying it.
Previously had a BMW 4 series. Loved that car but it was time to move on.

I'm a first time user of Android Auto and need a bit help with it.
I've got it all set up and when I get in the car it auto connects to the car wi-fi and starts to play Spotify - which is what i want.
But it only plays one track then loses connection. This happens whether wireless or usb connection.
Where am I going wrong?

It's a Xiaomi Mi 8 running Android 10.

Have you tried another handset to be 100% sure it's not Xiaomi, any Android updates as 10 is 2 behind now, 12nis new & not widely updated as yet, but 11 should be available.

I haven't tried another handset but I'll try the Mrs' one to see if that works.
My phone connects OK but then drops out.

AA is kinda a bit hit & miss at times on latest cars, Google have now also decided to change from AA to another system at some point, but check for firmware updates for the phone also.
