Deactivate Stop-Start 2017 S3 saloon

I know this has been asked a few times but just seeking some clarification.
I have adjusted my voltage limit on the start/stop from 7.6v to 12v using OBDEleven pro and as expected the system no longer switches off.
Whilst perusing the OBDEleven screens I went into module 19 Gateway, then Adaptation and found Deactivation of start-stop function. Entering this shows Mode not active. Entering this gives 5 different options
Mode not active
Stop release
Stop prohibition, no start request
Start request
System malfuntion

Has anybody tried these options and if so do they work, ive also seen the same option on a VCDS screen shot.

Although I can't help with the coding as I found it never worked very well and caused the Stop Start symbol to come up on the VIS, I gave up with it and fitted something like this,

The memory cable works, gives you the choice on the odd occasion you may want the stop start. I got this one for th 8v.

I have seen those and considered getting one before I tried the voltage coding, it works fine and the stop start not working symbol is small and barely noticeable on my virtual cockpit. I could probably live with it and don’t see myself ever needing to turn it back on. I think one of the options may disable it properly and I may give it a go just to see if it does.
