Air bag light

The light has been on since i got the car,so today i borrowed a snap on diagnostic tool to see what up and it came up with " resistance to o/s seat airbag" any idea's what that means ??

check the connectors under the seat, the cn be knoecked and come loose, or on earlier modles are prone to corrode, so disconnect and clean, some people have removed them and hard wired them in

is it true that even after you have cleared the fault you will need a vag.com tool to clear the airbag light?

Yep! Happened to my 2.8 last year.

Have the Airbag light on my S4 showing but it's the pre-tensioner in the drivers buckle that's gone! more money!

I have a set of Seat belts if you need one or a set.
