Hi, im new to this site.
Recently bought the A3 sportback 2.0 tdi (bdk) but has an issue.
It seems when I put the car under any heavy load...for example put in 5th or 6th and try and accelerate the boost just goes completely and the EML has come on. What is strange is when the engine is restarted it's fine till I do the same again. It'll do this more often when engine is at temperature. The car is remapped and has an induction kit...sounds nice can hear it pull in the air and whistle but not when the issue arrises, it's why I think it's a turbo related problem but possibly electrical/sensor as it's fine after a restart. OBD scanner shows nothing.
Any thoughts?
