Well that's it.
I've sold my A4 Avant to 'We Buy Any Car'. the whole sorry tale is on the A4 B8 section under ESC problems thread.
They offered me just....more than main dealers' part-ex prices, I wouldn't have dreamed of selling on privately so even though the 'We Buy' buyer was probably the most objectionable person I've ever met I bit my tongue and did the deal.
I just wanted to be rid of the car.
My replacement is similar, I've bought a Mercedes CLA 220d AMG shooting brake, it's even the same colour, Elephant Breath or Walrus Whisker or something... Metallic grey.
I may still call in here from time to time as my daughter has a Mk2 TT and Mrs Squirrelly has a Q2.
