Hi there, I have recently purchased a full interior for my A4 B7 Saloon. The rear seats are foldable. I was w if anyone has retrofitted foldable seats into a saloon without them.

Unless you have the spindles that the seat back catches clip on to I would say it's a no-goer. They're a structurally crucial part for seat safety.
Also you need to have the clamp and correct bolt holes in the underseat area, for the pivot.
Even with correct parts getting the alignment right so that the catches to engage smoothly takes a bit of doing.

I've seen it done before. The guy cut out the parts off a doner car and bolted/welded them into his. I'll see if i can find the pics.
