Activate Audi Sound System and SUB settings

Hello, i have A3 8v with 8 speakers in default...i buy sub and central speaker and i connect it to MMI...

But after i make activation in VSCD, sub and central dont work, i activate FF0A (active speakers installed) in bit 4 in 5F...everything its make done.

But sound dont work...only default 8 speakers.


I have MSTD version od MIB with nav with (old)small screen and nav on SD - its problem with old MIB?

Any ideas what i can try?

Where are you located?

VCDS alone is not able to perform this retrofit.

You need to re-parametrise the head unit. Needs something like VCP, talk to the man above if you don't have the tools as it'll work out cheaper.

That's a shame. There are some who can do the work remotely but it will still require you to have some hardware. Otherwise it'll be a case of finding someone locally with VCP/Odis etc
