Hey guys,

I have a weird one today. I rarely sit in the passenger seat but when I did this week end I discovered that my girlfriend has been enduring some serious cold air on her legs lately... Its all fine on the driver side but there is a lot of cold air coming in the passenger side, mostly coming from under and on the left side of the glovebox (Left hand drive). To the point where its actually very uncomfortable at -20 degrees celcius at highway speeds.

I changed the cabin air filter last year and did not notice anything unusual. What could it be? Just bad design?

Thanks.

-20 deg C? I'd be surprised if it was anything below around 4 deg as the aircon doesn't activate below 4 on most cars (regardless of the switch).

Anyhow, have you tried the different settings to direct the air away from the legs area to see if that makes a difference? What settings are your switches on when this happens? Maybe you didn't fit the cabin filter correctly as these are quite fiddly having swapped a few myself.

Have look
And check the relevant flaps are operating.
