Help Please Crankshaft position sensor 2 different kinds?

Hi. I wonder if anyone can help. I'm looking at crankshaft sensor for my Audi. I am seeing what appears to be 2 different kinds. Or, is it that you can just get it with, or without the wiring, then add your wire to one without wire on it?

And, the one with the wire attached.

Any advice would be appreciated.
