We had planned to buy a new car seat for our 10 month old but what we thought was going to be a simple mission is more complicated than I first thought.
The isofix seat we were interested in requires a top tether point which the A4 Avant doesn't have. I suggested using the isofix bracket itself as the tether point (so strap over the top and down the back of the rear seat) but girl in the store said that wasn't right.
Has anyone fitted a seat of this style in their A4, if so what point did you use?
The reason we like the top tether model is to avoid using a seat with the leg that extends down into the rear footwell.
