Final drive oil type

Hi all, quick question re final drive oil type in 2004 a4 With CVT auto transmission. From what I can gather the oil is sepearte for final drive and cvt transmission? Oil capacity in final drive is 1.3 litre BUT what type of oil should be used on the final drive? (I have a slight leak and need to top up) any help greatly appreciated

With my v6 2.4 b6, ideally get VAG cvt fluid, or Mannol but only Cvt fluid not atf. I ended up using comma cvt, also get replacement plugs as they are made out of playdoh. Fill and use vagcom measuring blocks to monitor temp to 45deg celcius and then plug fill hole.
Final drive is same as rest of the cvt box fluid.
