My Audi a3 se technical(102) hatchback rough ride

It's 2009 September model

It had smooth ride on potholes or rough roads but after sometime the rides are very rough

Halford initially told me to change schock absorbers but now they say it's ok

What are the possibile reasons
Could it be suspension or schock absorbers or coils

Halford says all are fine and did not say why it's rough on potholes

Any direction will help

I'd get a second opinion from someone who isn't Halfords.

Perhaps see if you have any decent indie VAG specialists local?

Also how many miles have your shocks done?

What size wheels are you running, and if they're 18"+, do they have ****** tyres on them?

It's 75000 now dunno when it was replaced
