Hi folks, I have an interesting situation with one of my rad cooling fans. The car sounds like a jet engine, soon as I unlock the car with my fob, after about 5 seconds the right hand side fan (looking into the engine from the front) revs up to full power, again this is before I’ve even started it.
It stays on for the duration of whatever journey I’m doing, and then stops about 20 seconds after I turn the car off and lock it.
All temps are fine and there are no dash warnings.
A mate has some generic odbc software and the attached screenshot is the only code that was of any interest.
A Google of that points to relay, temp sensors, fan controllers, loom issues.
My question is, would VCDS be more specific in identifying the issue?
