Major service coming up.. just wondering if a non audi garage can carry out the work... Am i right in thinking if they use certified parts my warrenty will remain intact?

Im aware for the first inspection warrrenty is intact, just wondering if its the same for major.

I believe so yes, if the garage is VAG certified, at least thats the case here in Germany but be aware that your Audi mobility will be void if not done by an Audi / VW dealership.

If you are a member of the AA for instance and don't rely on the Audi mobility it doesn't matter.

The EU Block Exception law forbids manufacturers from voiding a warranty if their services are not used. So long as the manufacturer guidelines are followed and OEM parts are used, then your warranty will NOT be void where ever you take the car. As most also know, the specialist will treat your car with far more care and attention than a trainee audi tech!

On another note I believe the AA roadside cover offered here in the UK is unaffected.
