Mmi Song info

Hi all,

Not long been a member, been trying to figure out how to get the song info etc to be displayed on the main mmi screen for the radio sations without having to go into a seperate menu

Has anyone been able to get this working, my car is a late 2016 A3 saloon sline.

Yeah, that bugs me too. On my Golf, it showed the song details for the radio on the main screen. I can't even figure out what secondary screen to get it on, never mind getting it on the main screen!

As far as I know you can't have it as your default- on my 2014 8v you choose the bottom left button (functions it might be called, cn't remember off the top of my head) and then there is an 'i' icon I think which show you the station info including song name but when you go to any other screen i.e change channel, it takes you off the info screen and back to the default one.

Mine’s a late 2016 too.
Can select station text via the menu but it defaults to “off” again once the ignition is switched off. One of the many minor niggles with the settings on this car.
