Hi,
My A3 is almost 3 years old. I have noticed strange noise when the engine is cold and temperature of environment is around 10*C. After I turn the engine on all is fine. I always wait till RPMs go below 1x1000/min. Then I leave the garage, stop after 20 meters and get off to close the gate. Afterwards I can hear a strange noise out of the engine. You can hear it in the video, background crackle; frequency is about 2/sec.
Can you recognize it? What is the source of that strange noise and do I need to worry about that?
