Fuel filter valve

Arrrgg, I managed to put a hair line crack in the black valve that sits on top of the fuel filter on my 3.0l diesel A6

I have managed to seal it with a soldering iron and it appears to be holding atm, but I have a 300 mile trip to do tomorrow and i'm not sure if it will last the distance.

Does anybody know if that is under any significant pressure?

Also, bit of a long shot, but does anybody have a spare one for sale near Ashford in Kent?
