Sportback rear door failure.....

Afternoon folks.

My 2010 8p sportback has developed a fault. the NSR door lock and window have stopped working. Door is currently locked. Window won't work from the drivers control or the door control.

Anyone had/heard of this before...? With both failing at the same time, I'm assuming this is an electrical fault as opposed to a failed lock actuator?

Front near side door hinge rubber broken wire that connects the canbus to signal locks & window from drivers switch pack.

Could also be the actual door hinge wires.

This is the most common cause.

Cool. I'll see if I can peel back the rubber boot and see if there is anything obvious.
