Audi S3 8p central locking issues

Good day

After I replaced my car battery, the following problems occurs:

The car can’t be locked using the remote;
When using key in the driver’s door, only that door locks; and
The bootlid can’t be opened with the remote or manually, it remains permanently locked.

Any advice and help will be highly appreciated.

I'd get the car scanned for errors as the first thing - that will potentially highlight the problem and help troubleshoot further.

Thanks for the reply. Will do that asap. Just found it weired that all this happened just after I replaced the car battery.

Check fuses under bonnet & drivers side panel on end of dash, seems to point to convenience &/or central electrics module.

Remove both battery terminals and short them together with a spanner away from the battery, hold for 5 seconds and retry.

I have got the same issue on my 2.0 tdi, please let me know if you have managed to fix this please.
