I have just bought a 3door A3 19tdi 2007 with 130000 miles on it.
The problem I have is when I accelerate it slightly twitches ie (pulls) to the right and when I left off the throttle it slightly twitches ie (pulls to the left.

The car drives very smoothly and doesn’t make any noises, I changed the bushes at the rear of the front wishbones and the pulling is a little less but still there
I haven’t looked at rear arm bushes yet but it feels like coming from the front a little like torque steer
Has anyone else had this problem ? Cheers. Lea

You obviously checked your tyres and pressures ?

Yes mate tyres seem to be all ok , front bottom ball joints seem ok too .

Decided to just replace the wishbones along with the bottom ball joints and that cured the problem , front bushes in the wishbones had play in them so no pulling now . It’s only a work car but feels so much better to drive now
