Clutch Delay S3

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I find the clutch in the S3 very vague and hard to find the bite point when shifting quickly. I came across this for the Golf R /GTI.

Does anyone know if this is relevant to the S3 or anyone who has done it?

Yes and a bit annoying. Probably there to "help" smooth out peoples clutch control and protect the drive train/engine from sudden forces. If you notice, power doesn't come straight back on after up changes either, no doubt to reduce clutch wear whilst it fully engages.

I find it does the complete opposite for me with jerky gear changes as the bite point is delayed and different depending on how fast you lift your foot, starting to drive me mad.

The biting point is too high up the pedal, was no my last A3 as well

I found the clutch operation quite frustrating and did the above mod (by replacing it with the Awesome GTI part with no restrictor) along with a Forge shortshifter. Made the whole thing a lot better but the biggest improvement was the Sachs organic clutch, the stiffer action makes the clutch return properly!
