Another year another mot

have done a shade of 5000 in the last year it was time for the MOT !
Not a bad annual mileage considering we drove it spain and back last year via Andorra !
The old girl failed!

Nothing major just the clamps had corroded and snapped on the join between the front and rear section!

I did think it was blowing slightly !

Now to get it ready for a trip to spain at Easter !

My old 2000 VW Passat 4Motion 2.8 V6 30V got its first warning on the condition of one of these sleeve bolts at 10 years and about 70K miles, I replaced both sleeves as finding the correct clamps style by itself seemed impossible.

I just told the MOT station to sort it, cost me £6 but I’m happy at that
