I am trying to install facelift USDM led taillights on my b8.5. The biggest issue I am running into is coding of course, as the wiring was relatively simple. I only recently got access to a VCDS cable to make a channel map and here are the results:

I attempted to straight copy the coding from a USDM b8.5 OEM LED taillight car:

however many functions did not work.
I would just like to understand how adaptation coding actually works, for now i believe that the channel number corresponds to an individual cable, and the value tells the CECM the function of that channel correct?
How would I go about discovering which value controls which function? I have scoured the entire internet for a similar setup yet no one has attempted this project just yet!
