hi team, have just replaced my OEM Tyres ContiSport 5 with Michellin PS 4 as suggested in this forum, so far so good, seems quieter and smoother however the Contis had 26k on them and were near the wear-indicators which coild have made them noisier; the PS4's are also grippier but that's also likely due to their newness.
Thanks for the advice :). Now the next question is about overall NVH. It's a 2013 hatch quattro, and after 3 mths on the road, I took it back numerous times to try and resolve rumble, crash and jigglyness issues, all deemed to be 'as designed', which i guess means it is a poorly designed car.
Has anyone tried to reduce the NVH ? Added in extra sound proofing matting, or changed suspension components ?

Even on the softest ride setting , Comfort, it crashes over road imperfections at speeds above 80k - possibly due to speed compensating damping ??

This is not an S3, and I drive it hard occasionally, but it is a tiring drive at anytime with all the NVH.
