Multi function steering wheel

Hi all.
I have the chance of a multifuntion steering wheel for my avant.
My car doesnt have any multifunction options at all at the moment so is it even worth trying to get this to work on my car? Or will it be to much trouble?
Kind of hoping that it will be a straight swap!!
My car is an 05 2.0 tdi avant s line.

It will depend on the module behind the steering wheel and what it supports can’t remember part no off hand but mine was a pig to do I put cruise and flat bottom steering wheel on at 2 separate times so had to get a second module swapped!!
There’s some clever chaps on here who will help I’m sure good luck matey

Mine already has cruise control fitted. Just no multifunction at all. Not even on the wiper stalk.

Ye mine had nothing at all it’s been a bit of pain but worth it in the long run
