How hard is one of these to replace? I have the AUM engine. Whilst using Vag-Com, checking for missfires, I found cylinder three throwing up a missfire every time the car was pushed. I swapped over coilpacks with no luck. I also replaced all spark plugs but had no luck. I noticed that alot of the wires (harness) are cracked. I tried taping them but I'm sure somewhere along the line, the tape would not have insulated them all. Is it easy to replace this harness (or does it go all the way to the ecu??) Also does any one have the part number and price for one of these?
Any one else suffer the same issue? I got a feeling this could be the reason for the power surge I have throughout the rev range.
