Hi, I've got a 2000 facelift model A3, can anyone tell what type the dipped-beam bulbs are that it uses, also what are the best upgrade bulbs Osram, Phillips etc. ??

If its the facelift headlights then H7's are what you need.

i've tried many bulbs from various manufacturers.

So far osram silver stars (H1's) are proving best. I think the blue tint ones look great but are ***** in wet weather.
