Dim footwell lights?

Hi Everyone,

Had footwell lights installed a few months ago in my 2014 PFL A3 and been meaning to ask if they are supposed to be brighter on the passengers side compared to the drivers side? i have swapped the light cluster part to check if its the bulbs & it seems to indeed be the light assembly as when i change them, the passengers side is then dimmer & drivers side brighter. Just wondering if this is a faulty part or if, for security reasons, its supposed be be a bit dimmer on the drivers side? its all been wired up fine, through MMI and brighter is at max.

I can't say I've noticed my driver's side one being any more or less bright than the other side.

Possibly you have a faulty unit?

On my FL, both footwell lights are the same brightness so sounds faulty to me.

Mine are the same both sides (2014 model also).
