Central locking not working

My central locking for certain doors has always been a bit hit and miss, but this week the car seems to have lost all central locking functionality. At first I thought it was the battery in my remote, but I've replaced that to no avail. I have also checked the fuses (#12 #13 on side of dash) with both being intact.

What should be my next focus for troubleshooting?

Does the central locking work when using the key in the drivers door lock?

It used to, but not anymore - will only lock drivers door

If it's an older car, about 6 years or more then start by checking the wiring in the rubber gaiter in the A post of the drivers door. The wires constantly bending and straightening each time you open or close the door.
If all is intact then the door control module is the next suspect.
