My friends got a A1 and booked the car in as the airbag light was on and the horn or steering controls didn't work.
The garage has informed me that it's the slip ring which needs replaced and have said that it's not covered under the extended warranty because they class it as a wear and tear component.
I'm not sure myself but have asked others and they wouldn't agree that it's a wear and tear part.
Would do you think?
