Mis fire and traction controll/esp light

I started the car the other day and the car mis fired and started running a bit lumpy.

Seemed to clear and I carried on driving.
When accelerating the throttle stopped Working and the traction controll light and esp light came on.

I switched off the ignition and re started the engine and now have a intermittent miss fire
The exhaust also 'pops' when foot off accelerater.
This happens 5-6 times on 30 mile trip.
Any ideas??

I've unplugged the sensor in the throttle body and give it a clean.
Just come back from a 10 mins run and all seems to ok.
When it's playing about again do u reccommend unplugging sensors while running ?

I'd recommend replacing them as its clearly faulty

The sensor on the throttle body is the MAF sensor ??
Just so I order the correct one

Sensor 'by' throttle body is the air intake temp sensor... there is no 'sensor' on the throttle that you unplug... maybe a post a picture of what you unplugged just to be sure

You should still scan for codes though
