Reverse light switch

just a quick question..
What type of reversing light switch is needed for Audi A3 8l 1.8t 2003..
I've seen a few different types on eBay that all say they fit? Any help

Had two wires. Should be a brown plug. For an 02M gearbox

A3 1.8t will be an 02J gearbox... part number should be on the original switch... buy one that matches the number and/or the type of connecting plug

One more thing.

Buy definitely OEM switch.

I've had two cheaper ones fail on first reverse try - saves you time in the end.
