Huge Overboost

2003 BAM S3. Has Bills hybrid turbo set-up with all the supporting mods.

Ususlly maxes out around 25psi.

My Stack boost gauge only goes to 30psi, but this morning its decided to start boosting to approx where 38psi would be .

Now it feels awesome, but obviously isnt right.

After a quick glance under the bonnet, everything seems ok, nothing untoward.

I'm currently at pipewerx having my exhaust altered, Ive got 130 miles to go to get home. I'm not allowing it to overboost, AFR's seem good.

Advice appreciated.

Check pipe work from the crave pipe, I have a boost gauge and the pipe split giving me mad boost but not safe for turbo...

pipe to actuator on the actuator tight? pipe to n75 from charge pipe on there?unplug n75 electrically what does it go to... 12-15psi being the norm

I'll have a proper look when I get home, but there is no difference sith the N75 electrically disconnected.

I dont suppose you know what thread that is Bill? I want to replace it with a straight nipple.

What actuator is it? looks more like an external wastegate...
