Replaced the silver ones with black ones

I've not personally put new badges on.
But I have removed badges before (the V6T wing badges from my S5 as it was Supercharged, not turbo).
Easy enough to do. I used the hairdryer / dental floss method to slice the sticky pad behind then polished any residue off.
New badges readily available online. You'd just need to get the positioning right or take templates from the original one prior to removal.

Thanks . I've seen some black matte ones and gloss ones . Not sure which ones to choose. My A3 is Daytona black edition.

Personal choice really but I'd probably opt for gloss as your BE trim will match.
