have spent literally hours reading this forum and others but still can't get it to work

2010 a4 s line

Trying to get music to work from the s card.

How come some tracks within an album work yet others won't?
I'm dragging and dropping them in to seperate folders on the card from my iTunes account

It's possible that the music files are in the wrong format, iTunes uses AAC which is not supported by the MMI, you could try using something like dbpoweramp (which is free, just Google it) to convert your files before putting them on the SD card.

I'll look in to that later

But how hard is it to convert from the aux in to a USB in?

If you have an AMI port it's just a case of buying an AMI to USB cable, that's what I use in mine, the format of the files still needs to be MP3 though.

What type of stereo do you have? In mine there was a little compartment in the glovebox which had the socket inside. Where is your aux-in?

Nothing in the glove box but a jack plug in the arm rest

I am use by the above program to convert!
Have spent the last couple of hours doing so, it's a slow task but in no rush

The above method works , though had a few issues with the conversion process and still can't get some albums from my iTunes to the sd card.

Plenty of room for more music though !
Will make tune selection nice and Easy on the at to Spain in July

I'm sure you'll get there once you've used it for a bit.

Any other programmes to use?

My trial of poweramp has expired and when I try to upgrade it kills my computer
