if i buy an s4 front bumper for my 2.8 30v a4, does it have to be for a facelift 1999 model like mine or will any year b5 s4 bumper fit? obviously i'l need the h,lamp jets, grilles etc.

It really needs tto be the facelift model, unless you get the matching wing mounts as they are different facelift to non facelift.

oh sh1t!! how different? I have an S4 bumper and a facelift 1.8t, no idea how old the bumper is.

Basicly as long as you have the matching plastic wing mounts it will fit, i have facelift bumpers on my 98.5 but had to buy the mounts. It will be the same to fit early bumpers to facelift
