Water collects under front n/s wiper

Is this normal ? no drain holes there ive checked ??

I'd say it is normal as I'd noticed exactly the same thing happens with mine whenever I wash it.
I just use my hose gun to spray all the water towards the offside where there does appear to be a drain hole....

Its a bit of bad design in my opinion, especially when it freezes.
