i use to have a s3 company car, and it had this feature that if the windows were open u could lock them with the remote, also u could open them from the remote.
is this a standard? or an extra?

Yep, just hold down the 'lock' button for closing and 'unlock' button for opening.

Its definalty standard, i think all audi's have it now, not just the S3.

I had a A4 Avant 2.0 FSI courtesy car the other day and tried it and it worked..

By the way the 2.0 FSI engine felt good only in first gear, after that it was sluggish until it had reach 100+.. It had only done 1700 miles, maybe i was expecting too much

Agree. My friends A4 1.9tdi 2003 model has the window feature as standard.

I found that by accident the other day. I walked out to the car, only to find the windows open !! After a bit of playing around I worked out what was going on. I like the 'close' feature, but I struggle to understand the 'open' one. Can the 'open' bit be disabled ( with VagCom )
