Single to double din guide

Hi guys i know its probably been asked many times but i tryed searching and cant find a guide with pictures. Has anyone a link to a guide inc pic on how to convert single din to double din on a3 2006 thanks

Hi guys come to make a start on my single to double din conversion but came to undo grab handles and i cant get my 8mm socket in the hole underneath through the handle is this right or is it 6mm ect thanks
