The CC on my Jan 2008 S3 has started making a whining noise when the AC is engaged (Eco off). It changes (goes up and down in pitch) with engine speed, and is quite noisy at low speeds around town, but not that noticeable on the motorway. AC seems to work fine. Any ideas please?
Of less importance - the red LED temperature readout has lost one segment. Is this fixable, or does it involve a control unit swap-out? As it is, I just leave it on 19.5 so the unlit segment doesn't show
