Its oil change time again - and I would like to find out if anyone on here has ever used Lucas Heavy Duty oil Additive after changing the oil in their Audi, this stuff is a 1ltr bottle of additive that is like syrup when it comes out of the bottle and is supposed to quieten down any slight knocking on the hydraulic lifters on first starting until the oil gets all around the engine from a dry start - I sometimes get this intermittently for a few minutes until the engine has been running for a while, when all the fluids are up to temp it sounds fine.
I use the bigger oil filter and 5w-40 fully synthetic oil.
