Decat and S3 Question

Hi there, Thinking of De-Catting my car tomorrow just wondering will the car go into limp mode or will it just show up on the dash?

Is there anything I have to know before i do this?

Any help appreciated

You will just get your engine management light up on the dash mate, won't make any difference to the fueling either, just an annoying light, best to get this mapped out

I had my previous car ( Mercedes ) decatted to get rid of limp mode, the fumes from engine were clogging the exhaust and so the car was struggling to expel the waste gas. After the decat the car run 100% better and there was no engine light .. I would presume that a newer car might have some sort of sensor in the exhaust that might throw up a light or fault code but apart from that I'd do it. A another issue was mot emissions test I failed once after decat but put millers in my diesel tank then it past fine seconded time ..
