Sorry this has probably been asked a 1000 times already, but there is just so many differnt threads on here it is hard to find relevent infomation.
I have fitted a new head unit (Sony wx-gt90bt double din) into a 2004 a3 3.2, and I have the low volume whine/buzzing issue - it is effected (made worse) by the indicators and the climate control unit being used.
I already fitted a ground loop isolator and when the head unit is turned on with volume there is no buzzing at all.
Is there anyway to get rid of this buzzing? I assume I have a bad earth somewhere.
Coming out from the dash, there is a thin brown wire (wired inside the plug) that doesn't connect anywhere - anybody know what its for?
