FL S3 Insurance Discrepancy

Been running some quotes on the car insurance comparison websites and noticed a big discrepancy in insurance for the FL S3 compared to the PFL. Figures below are my cheapest quote from compare the market using identical terms except for the car;

[Prefacelift] 2016 Audi S3 Nav Quattro 5 DR Auto = £494.94
[Facelift] 2016 Audi S3 Quattro 310 5 Dr Auto = £713.94

Could this be because the facelift hasn't been fully added to most insurance company websites yet hence less competitive price and fewer number of quotes?

Hi,
Unfortunately we do find it can take a few months sometimes for new models to appear. Whilst there are waya round it on most of our schemse it can cause a few headaches at times.
