S3 window won't go up,

hello on my s3 8l I got the other day,
I noticed yesterday the drivers side window will go down fine but won't come back up 80% of the time,when it does go up its fine,no noises,clunks and its level like normal.
It's annoying as the passenger Windows fine.
What could it be as I've only had the car a week

That looks complicated,since I've only just got the car,I don't really wanna try do all that

If you purchased from a garage then take it back for them to fix.

If you purchased privately, then the fixes above are an option, or have a garage (who knows what their doing) look at it.

Weird I just held the button at the top for a bit then at the bottom and it seemed to work on my tests anyway

My cable has broken both sides now. Can't buy the cable on its own, have to buy a regulator which is about £90. Ended up buying a whole Window frame with cable for £10 and just swapped the whole thing over. It's quite a simple job on the s3, 5 screws and the door card lifts off, then 4 torx bolts and the the frames off, swap the glass over and refit. Takes about 30 mins
